While we love eating out all over Glasgow, enjoying the best of Asian cuisine at our favourite Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean or Vietnamese restaurants. However, going out for food is not that great for our wallets, and making homemade meals is one of the more sensible things to do. So, it is only fitting to get that much-needed oriental fix at Asian supermarkets around Glasgow, which we have conveniently put together into one list.
1. Matthews Food
Matthews Food is located slightly closer to the city centre than SeeWoo. Boasting a number of Asian supermarkets around the country, Matthews Food has become a well-known name in Scotland. Visitors can expect to find Chinese, Thai and Malaysian sauces, Japanese and Korean noodles, and some Indian spices, as well as Chinese hotpot ingredients. While it’s not super big, the supermarket’s prices tend to be cheaper.
