Few things can improve The Nutcracker, Tchaikovsky’s incomparable ballet. However, we think we may just have found a way. In addition to hearing pieces from the Nutcracker, you’ll also hear pieces from Swan Lake and even Johann Strauss. The lovely folks of Fever are hosting an utterly enchanting night of candlelit ballet this autumn – with performances scheduled for September 28 – making for an unforgettable display of music and dance. With a string quartet, professional ballet dancers, and a beautiful venue bathed in candlelight, it might just be the classiest date you’ve ever been on. Tickets are on sale now, so grab them before they’re gone!
In the gilded heart of the magnificent Òran Mór, a night of music and movement will unfold, as the dancers seem to be ferried along by the stirring music of Tchaikovsky, Strauss, and other famed composers. You’ll be treated to a ballet performance from Swan Lake, with flickering candlelight proving the ideal backdrop for the ballet. Really, we can’t think of a better way to spend an evening than with a magical evening of dance unfolding before you…
There are two show times on the day, 6pm and 8.30pm, which you can select from when making your purchase. Each show will run for just over an hour and doors will open 45 minutes before show time. There will be candles in abundance, but they will be flameless (they’re electric so they still light up) – which will allow you to sit back in peace, and be enchanted by the music and dance of arguably the world’s greatest ballet!
