Listen to “Fix You”, “Believer” and “Next to Me” reimagined by a string quartet at a candlelit Arta.
Candlelight: Coldplay vs. Imagine Dragons
These bands share fans due to their blend of alternative rock with commercial pop rock. But the similarities don’t end there. Coldplay and Imagine Dragons are two of the most successful bands in the world. They have eight Grammys under their belt combined, they both have charismatic frontmen and they both write songs for the people, touching on universal themes that anyone can identify with, including heartache, mental health, love and grief. In fact, the Las Vegas-based band was actually inspired by Coldplay’s sound.
So, marrying Coldplay’s and Imagine Dragon’s music for an other-worldly tribute by candlelight, seems like a no-brainer. The popular Candlelight concert series invites you to relax and unwind to the moving melodies of “Radioactive”, “Clocks”, “Something Just Like This”, “Believer” and many more. Performed by the classically trained musicians of a string quartet, you can experience these tunes firsthand at the vibrant Arta restaurant. Combined with the twinkling lights of thousands of candles, the venue offers the perfect backdrop to such a mesmerising show.
Candlelight has proven to be an unforgettable and unique experience for guests, having received countless 5-star reviews. The combination of beautifully moving melodies played by a string quartet with the enchanting sea of candles and the electrifying atmosphere of Arta, will truly make for a night to remember.
The concert lasts 60 minutes and is set for 20:30 this spring. Doors open 45 minutes prior to the start of the performance, giving you plenty of time to find your seats and snap a few pictures of the candles.
