We love a trendy spot in Glasgow, and Clydeside Containers is the city’s newest attraction located right by the River Clyde. The spot has today (June 9) announced its opening date after suffering some delays due to global shipping holdups, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Set to open during August 2025 at 68 Broomielaw, the spot is set to feature live entertainment, street food and a retractable roof for those sunny days. What is more, the venue boasts enhanced weatherproofing features like integrated heating and windshields.

As Clydeside Containers is approaching its opening day, the venue has revealed the newest images to give Glaswegians a sneak peek.
In addition to its industrial vibe, the spot will invite local graffiti artists ahead of the launch to add original street art, celebrating Glasgow’s urban creativity.
Nathan Sparling, Director, said: “We’ve been overwhelmed by the buzz around Clydeside Containers—and we share everyone’s frustration at having to wait a few more weeks. But global shipping is outside even our control. The good news is that everything’s now full steam ahead, and we’ll be ready to throw open the container doors before the summer is out. This delay is just more time to build the hype—and believe us, it’ll be worth the wait.”

“We’re creating a space that blends sustainability, culture, and social energy,” said Dario Bernardi at Clydeside Containers.
“With this new look, we’re bringing something fresh to the Clydeside—an iconic, all-weather venue where people can gather, enjoy great food, and experience Glasgow’s best entertainment.”

Clydeside Containers states: “Our new venue on the Clydeside offers a one-of-a-kind riverside experience that blends vibrant outdoor dining with live entertainment.
Positioned in the heart of Glasgow’s thriving cultural and entertainment district, the venue features a relaxed, open-air setting with stunning views of the River Clyde, making it a premier destination for locals, tourists, and event-goers alike.”

“Offering a dynamic schedule of events such as live music, comedy nights, pub quizzes, and themed parties will set the venue apart from our competitors. By hosting both regular and niche events, the venue will cater to a broad audience, from students and young professionals to tourists and event-goers.”
