Fontaines D.C. have announced their biggest headline tour to date, taking in 20 arena shows across Europe and the UK this autumn. The Irish lads will be hitting up our very own OVO Hydro along the way, one of just six UK shows on the tour.
The tour opens in Lisbon on 21st October – five days after the release of their fifth album ‘Dopamine Chamber‘ – and ends at London’s O2 Arena on 27th November. The announcement comes ahead of a run of festival headline appearances this weekend – Reading Festival (tonight), Leeds Festival (Saturday) and Electric Picnic (Sunday).
The run will see the band perform in Madrid, Barcelona, Bologna, Belgrade, Prague, Łódź, Berlin, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Antwerp and Paris, before a six-date UK leg through Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham and London. Fans in Ireland should stay tuned for live news soon.
After huge success with 2024 album ‘Romance‘, Fontaines D.C. have been catapulted into the limelight, with songs like Favourite, Starburster and It’s Amazing to be Young on the top of playlists the world over. The band were also heavily featured on the soundtrack to 2025’s House of Guinness – much of which happened to be filmed in Manchester – and won a BRIT Award for International Group of the Year at this year’s Manchester ceremony.
The AO Arena show in Manchester on November 21 sees Fontaines return to the city after a triumphant headline performance at Live from Wythenshawe Park last year, further strengthening their tie to our wonderful city.
