German Doner Kebab is reopening their flagship restaurant in Glasgow city centre, and, understandably, they’re celebrating by giving away some free kebabs. And let’s face it: we love us a bit of German Doner Kebab!
German Done Kebab has refurbished the Renfield Street branch, one of its two restaurants in Glasgow, which is ready for reopening this weekend. To celebrate, the kebab spot is giving away 100 free kebabs on Saturday, September 28.
German Doner Kebab currently has nine restaurants in Scotland, with two in Glasgow. Visitors can expect to find halal cuts of meat, locally sourced salad, signature handmade sauces and GDK’s signature toasted waffle bread. Guests can also enjoy vegetarian options, as well as boxes and smaller versions of the main meals.
Simon Wallis, CEO of German Doner Kebab, said: “I am thrilled to officially announce plans to re-open GDK Glasgow Renfield Street. GDK is revolutionising kebabs across the UK and I am confident we will continue this trend in Glasgow, following previous success in the area.
GDK offers a premium dining experience with game-changing kebabs made fresh daily by our hard-working team powered by our fantastic franchise partners. We pride ourselves in ensuring that kebabs are done right and served in a modern and relaxed environment, making it a unique restaurant experience for all new members of the ever-growing GDK community”.
How to claim the free kebabs
On Saturday, September 28, foodies can flock to German Doner Kebab on Renfield Street to claim 100 free OG Jr Doner Kebabs kebabs. It is first come first served, so guests are advised to come along before its opening time at 11am.
GDK also offers a 15% student discount for those with a valid student ID, and will be open between 11am and 4am on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. What is more, the spot is also open until 1am on Sundays!
