Get ready for an out of this world experience with a new space-themed fairground that is set to launch in Glasgow this March. Galactic Carnival will provide a four-hour unlimited ride wristband, with a variety of rides for thrill-seekers and families to enjoy.
The space-themed carnival will take place at Silverburn Shopping Centre, Pollok from March 24, and will feature the likes of an epic rollercoaster, thrill rides for thrill seekers, a festival wheel with the best view of Glasgow, as well as rides for little ones. There will be up to 14 rides for visitors to choose from, all of which are included with the Galactic Carnival wristband.
Situated in the green car park at Silverburn, Galactic Carnival is sure to be a fun trip out for all. Rides for thrill seekers include the classic waltzers alongside the Speed Buzz, a ride that will have you soaring through the air, flipping and spinning at high speeds.
AtmosFear is also a thrilling ride that will take you to dizzying heights and send you plummeting back down to the ground, where it can swing 80 feet over the top in 360 degrees as you reach for the stars.
But for those who fancy something less fearsome, can enjoy the dodgems, Big Apple Coaster and Flying Taxis, as well as bungee trampolines and Chair-o-plane that will have you reaching for the stars. There will also be a series of autism friendly-sessions taking place between March 24 and April 16, offering visitors with autism and sensory processing disorders the chance to enjoy the rides with less queues and crowds.
Following the success of their last event, Spooktacular, Global Events and Attractions are back to offer a great value event across Scotland’s Easter Holiday, running from March 24 to April 16.
David Pierotti, General Manager of Silverburn, said: “Our guests are increasingly looking to make memories, so alongside a great retail choice, we are strengthening our entertainment and leisure offering. Part of this includes welcoming Galactic Carnival back again this Easter after a thrilling Spooktacular event at Halloween. We are confident the Galactic Carnival will be a popular choice, especially for families looking for fun activities to take part in over the holidays.”
