It’s official – Glasgow has, once again, been turned into Gotham City, as the filming of ‘Batman: Part II’ has commenced in the city this week.
Slated for release on February 18, 2028, The Batman Part II brings back Robert Pattinson alongside Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell, while adding Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, and Charles Dance to the ensemble.
‘The Batman Part II’ filming in Glasgow
The production started filming on August 18 around the Kingston Bridge, specifically along North Street and Newton Street. Local road and pedestrian closures are anticipated, with several restrictions already enforced on Bothwell, St Vincent, and Wellington Streets.
So far, Gotham Police vehicles have been spotted near St George’s Hall and the Queensway Tunnel, along with the famous Batmobile, as well as other props. As a result, fans have been uploading videos of filming in Glasgow, showing off all the action.
