Hamleys at St Enoch Centre is officially turning into a beach, so, get ready to enjoy a summer of family fun with some immersive events daily. From June 24, guests can enjoy Jellyfish Dancers and Kinetic Sandcastle building, meet the famous Hamley Bear and win prizes at giveaways.
Hamleys is a well-known toy store that was founded in Cornwall in 1760, and by 1837, the shop was already a destination spot for children in London. Famous for its puppet shows and interactive events, Hamleys is still standing strong with multiple branches around the world.
So, since Hamleys is transforming into a beach, Toy Soldier has packed his trunks and he’s ready for a Day Out at The Beach with Rag Doll! Treasure hunters will be invited on an adventure to hunt and track down their rubber ring, sun-cream, hat and more, all hidden somewhere in the store. The little escapade will be available daily between 12pm and 4pm at intervals.
The Jellyfish Dance Party will also bring little ones out for a wee dance and a shake, going underwater for a boogie like no other. All the dancing will be kicking off every day between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.
What is more, the artsy and crafty ones can put their little fingers to creative mode with Origami Paper Kite Making ready to take home between 1pm and 3pm daily, while Kinetic Sand Building will provide everyone with some sandy fun, without any mess between 12 and 2pm.
Balls, Boomas and Bean Bags will see little ones have the best time with beach balls, Booma lessons and the Bean Bag Toss. All the athletic skills will be tested on Hamleys Beach, with plenty of creative little activities for all ages daily between 1.30pm and 3.30pm. And, finally, children will be invited to meet Hamley Bear on the Beach, with some selfie opportunities with everyone’s favourite friend this summer from 12 pm until 4pm at intervals every day.
What a great little day out Hamleys has organised for the family this summer, so it’s set to be sure a hit this summer.
