The sell-out festive family film tradition, itison Drive-in Movies, is back this Christmas from December 13 – 24 as it enters its eleventh year at Loch Lomond Shores. Selling out in record time every year (literally in 24 hours), Scotland’s biggest drive-in event will bring an abundance of Christmas joy, showing all the classics from ELF to Gremlins, and from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone to Home Alone.
The experience will also feature festive foodie treats and in-car entertainment to show off all the musical talents in the lot. Located on the picturesque Loch Lomond Shores, the itison Drive-in Movies have become a Christmas tradition for friends and families across Scotland with over 200,000 cinema lovers throughout the years.
Adding to the classic Christmas films screened yearly, Arthur Christmas, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Gremlins will be providing viewers with some feel-good quality time with their loved ones this December. You can also expect Elf, Home Alone 1 & 2, The Polar Express, and, of course, The Holiday.
Oli Norman, creator of itison Drive-In Movies said: “This is year 11 of our Drive In Movies Christmas event and every year tickets sell out within the first couple of hours. The way the dates have fallen this year means we can run over two weekends and we’re delighted that more people will be able to come experience the magic of Drive In Christmas. Tickets go fast so set a reminder to get yours when the’re released.”
We don’t know about you, but we’re sold for some Christmassy movies in a scenic location. You can book your tickets here from Wednesday, November 6.
