Jazz lovers, rejoice! You can attend one of the most unique music festivals in Scotland next year with the most stunning backdrop of the Kelburn Estate. The organisers behind Scotland’s leading independent festival Kelburn Garden Party are bringing Kelburn Jazz Weekend, set to reimagine what a jazz festival should be.
Kelburn Jazz Weekend is taking place on the Bank Holiday Weekend on May 2 and 3, bringing jazz lovers together. Festival goers can expect live performances, DJs, visual art, culinary experiences, camping and glamping — all set against the 13th-century painted Kelburn Estate, located an hour from Glasgow.

Kelburn Jazz Weekend features two stages and pop-up locations, welcoming some of the most exciting names from Scotland and beyond. The line-up features names like Gilles Peterson, the world-renowned tastemaker, corto.alto, Liam Shortall, Rebecca Vasmant, Kai Reesu and more, with further artists announced as we approach May.
What is more, Kelburn Jazz Weekend features a “unique dining experience”, “carefully crafted to complement the immersive setting”. Guests will also be able to stay overnight camping or glamping, without having to worry about travelling back on the night.

Chris Knight, Programme Director, Kelburn Arts, said: “Since our earliest days, Kelburn has proudly showcased underground and emerging Scottish and international music outside of the mainstream, and many artists who have gone on to find success played early gigs at our annual festival. Jazz is the original DIY music, founded on the principles of total freedom of expression, collaboration and exploration – principles we wholeheartedly share. Unless you have been on Mars, you will have noticed the explosion of the UK jazz scene over the past decade or so, culminating in Ezra Collective winning the Mercury Prize in 2023.
Scotland has not slept on this, with a clutch of artists also making international waves, many of whom will be appearing this weekend. And arguably the man who has had most to play in shepherding in this exciting new era is Gilles Peterson, a true empresario and arguably the most influential DJ and broadcaster in the world. It is our sincere pleasure to welcome GP and these artists to Kelburn for a one-off celebration of the music, the people and the vibe. Welcome to the Kelburn Jazz Weekend!”
Kelburn Jazz Weekend is taking place at Kelburn Estate on May 2 and 3, 2026, and you can book your tickets here.
