From now until September 30, 2025, up to three children aged 15 and under can travel for free, as long as they’re accompanied by a fare-paying adult. There are hundreds of destinations across the UK available with National Express—taking you a far as Belfast, Birmingham and London.
How do I book this ‘kids travel free’ offer?
Just plan your journey as normal on the National Express website, and when at checkout, just use the code: KIDSFREE. Remember, this offer only applies to up to 3 kids, up to 15 years old, going free with 1 adult.
Why should families travel with National Express?
For a quick seaside escape, there are direct coaches to the likes of Ayr, Edinburgh and Berwick-Upon-Tweed. But if you’d like a longer holiday, somewhere further afield, you could go to places like the Lost Village Festival, Lancaster or Preston, or even a city break in Manchester or Newcastle.
If you’re concerned about the actual journey, then National Express has gone to lengths to improve the smoothness of the coach trip. There are free child booster seats, onboard free Wi-Fi and USB power sockets, and generous luggage space—with prams and pushchairs also carried for free.
