The art of making pizza and pasta is a skill that’s been perfected over centuries. Now, it’s one of the nation’s favourite dishes, bringing people together from all different walks of life. Pizza Punks has perfected its craft at making stonebaked pizzas and fresh pasta, inviting guests to enjoy their brand-new, wallet-friendly boozy brunch deal.
To help combat the cost of living crisis without having to lock oneself at home completely, Pizza Punks is offering a seven-day boozy brunch deal with pizza or pasta and four drinks per person for £29.50.
Located on St Vincent Street, Pizza Punks are independent nonconformist artisans with a passion for all things pizza and pasta. The independent business has doubled its sites in 2022 serving punked-up pizza across the UK, including Glasgow, Belfast, Newcastle, Leeds, Leicester and Durham. The concept is straightforward: you can build your own personalised pizza or pasta dish with unlimited toppings, just the way you like it, with no hidden costs or agendas.
The boozy brunch deal is a part of Pizza Punk’s Kill The Bill campaign, aiming to help combat inflation with a people-centred vision. On top of the deal mentioned, guests can also opt for the Cheapdate Monday deal, where two pizza or pasta dishes and two drinks are just £22. And on Thursdays, the Thank Fck It’s Thursday deal can get visitors two pizzas or pasta dishes, two sides and a bottle of wine for £39.50.
Secret Glasgow got the chance to try the Pizza Punks boozy brunch deal with their famous sourdough pizzas along with some cocktails. The Create Your Own Pizza option lets guests go all out with their pizza dreams and the BBQ-based beef shin ragu with sun-dried tomatoes, red onions and mushrooms was a clear winner for us.
And for the gluten-intolerant people out there, the gluten-free base is ready to save the day. After all, one does not have to say no to their favourite dish, because Pizza Punks has gluten-free, vegan and halal options covered. While the gluten-free pizzas are a little smaller, the dough is seamlessly put together with a soft, doughy texture that stays intact.
As for the cocktails, go for the Loveheart Caiprioska for the sweet and sour vibes. The cocktail comes with Loveheart-infused Finlandia vodka, strawberry, lemon and mint, topped with lemonade and lemon juice. And the best part, you get a pack of Lovehearts on top.
It is clear Pizza Punks care about people just as much as it does about pizza and pasta. And if this sounds like your kind of place, you can book a table here.
