Glasgow’s biggest electronic music festival is coming back once more this May, bringing the best artists from the local and international scene. After a massive 10th anniversary party last year, Riverside Festival (RF24) is bringing a noteworthy mix of international artists, new talents, as well as underground legends to showcase the world’s electronic music scene.
Taking place outside the Riverside Museum during the May Bank Holiday weekend on May 25 & 26, echoing down the banks of the River Clyde. Some highlights from the newly-released line-up include Green Velvet, Reinier Zonneveld, Charlie Sparks, TSHA, Eliza Rose, Maceo Plex, Slam, Ben Klock, Dax J, Dyen, LF SYSTEM and more.
RF24 doesn’t only bring some of the biggest names from the international electronic music world to Glasgow each year. The team behind Riverside Festival are also proud to care for and look after the local club scene.
This year, the Satellite Stage will, as always, host a decent line-up of Scotland’s freshest up-and-coming talent. The Riverside Festival line-up was created through a “nationwide competition” and will see a range of performers showcase their skills, highlighting some of the country’s best and leading DJ talent.
Music lovers can sign up for presale tickets which go live on Thursday, January 11 at 10am, while the general release tickets are available from Friday, January 12 at 10am from the RF24 website.
Mark Mackechnie, festival co-director, said: “After last year’s landmark 10th anniversary, we’re excited to once again bring some of the world’s freshest electronic music talent to Glasgow, as well as continue supporting the diversity and creativity of the local club scene. With more big-name acts to be announced, we’re confident next year’s May Bank Holiday weekender will be the biggest and best party in town.”
