Well, mistakes happen to the best of us, and all we can do is laugh about it now. K-pop stars STAYC ended up in retro Glasgow Rangers shirts at their show in Dallas, Texas, which was quickly noticed by the audience. To be honest, it turned into some hilarious Tweets from their fans, and we’re here for it.
The K-pop group wore crop top-style shirts from the 1996/97 season (can’t believe 1997 is considered retro nowadays, by the way), as Glasgow Rangers won their ninth league title in a row. The shirts were also worn by legends Paul Gascoigne and Brian Laudrup, and it’s sure a nice way to remember the good ol’ days.
STAYC were originally meant to soften up their fans in Dallas by honouring the Texas Rangers baseball team, and let’s hope the crowd at least appreciated the thought that went into it. Or, they could just really like Glasgow, which, obviously is awesome. Plus, they still looked super cute in the McEwan’s Lager-sponsored outfits, so that’s that!
One person wrote on X: “Im crying STAYC got Rangers Football Club jerseys and not Texas Rangers jerseys”, while another said: “This has absolutely ended me (with a laughing emoji)”.
More people also said: “i’m crying…stayc going viral in scotland for wearing the wrong rangers jerseys at their dallas concert is so (crying emoji)?”
A person also said: “Have to follow the k-pop trail go with the “rangers” for the world series after this little accident”.
Not to worry, though, as Glasgow is not mad or offended, we’re just here for the patter.
