We love a Christmassy interactive event, and what a better way to get crafty than making Christmas wreaths. Sterling Homes is bringing a selection of free Christmas workshops to help ignite some holiday joy for everyone involved. Sterling Home’s will invite guests into their Glasgow store on London Road for a series of interactive events to curate a truly creative Christmas this year.
First to kick off the series will be the Christmas wreath workshop on November 26 at 11am, partnering with Scotland’s favourite florists, MUD. During the event, guests will have the opportunity to create their very own personalised fresh Christmas wreath assisted by the expert florists. The ultimate in festive fun, MUD’s Festive Wreath workshop will see guests customise their own wreath, making for a unique front door accessory just in time for Christmas.
Next up, Scottish foodie sensation HomeMade will host a Festive Grazing Board workshop taking place on the same day at 1.30pm. The Partick eatery will bring a taste of HomeMade to Sterling Home’s stylish surroundings, teaching guests how to curate the tastiest in festive sharing platters. The Festive Grazing Board Workshop is a probable solution for anyone preparing to host family and friends this festive season. You could show off all the impressive charcuterie board skills and more!
The final workshop will take place on December 4 at 12pm, with Scottish calligrapher Laila Lettering host a Festive Calligraphy workshop, teaching guests how to master their gift tags and place settings this festive season. Calligraphy is a useful skill at any time of year, yet there’s just something that hits different about a perfectly written Christmas card with an elegant gift tag.
Catriona Simpson, Store Manager at Sterling Home Glasgow, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming guests in store, whether they’d like to learn how to present the perfect grazing board on Christmas Day or create a Christmas wreath they’d be proud to display – Sterling Home has something for everyone.”
If the Sterling Homes Christmas workshops sound like your kind of day out, you can book your tickets here.
