Could it be magic as shortly following the announcement of Olivia Rodrigo, one of the UK’s most successful bands, Take That, will also perform right beforehand. The Manchester-formed band announced today their return with a huge tour for 2024 alongside news of their ninth studio album, This Life.
This Life On Tour will see the trio – Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald – play four dates at Co-op Live, in their hometown of Manchester. They will also be joined on the tour by a very special guest, Olly Murs.
The news of Take That’s return was teased on Wednesday night (September 20) as the band projected their logo onto several music venues up and down the country including Glasgow’s OVO Hydro. The trio will kick off their UK and Ireland tour at Sheffield Utilita Arena on April 13, 2024 before heading to Leeds, Dublin, London and then Glasgow.
Take That will perform in Glasgow for three nights between May 3 and May 5, 2024, with the beloved Olivia Rodrigo set to perform at the OVO Hydro on May 7, 2024.
If you haven’t a little patience, get first in line for tickets to the Take That gigs, with pre-sale taking place at 9.30am on September 27, 2023. Tickets will go on general sale on the venue’s website from 9.30am on September 29, 2023.
