Planet Earth has had numerous geological periods, including five major ice ages. Once upon a time, giant creatures roamed the unrecognisable lands of our planet, making humans seem just like a tiny speck in a story of hundreds of millions of years. Well, the said giant creatures are coming back to life at The Lost Kingdoms, as the UK’s largest dinosaur experience, is coming to Glasgow this June.
The massive outdoor tour is coming to Birmingham before arriving at Glasgow’s Cuningar Loop in Rutherglen between June 29 and July 14, providing a 90-minute immersive experience. Visitors will get the chance to come face-to-face with life-size dinosaurs, Ice Age animals like mammoths and more.
Overall, guests will discover over 50 true-to-size animatronics of beasts like T-Rex and sabretooth tigers, including moving bits and realistic features. On top of the prehistoric creatures, dinosaur enthusiasts can become a palaeontologist for a day and uncover fossils, as well as explore the parklands, its trails and uncover what the area has to offer.
Marketing and Event Director, Naz Kabir, said: “The Lost Kingdoms is a phenomenal day out for the entire family. We can’t wait to open our doors and bring together dinosaurs and ice age creatures for the first time.”
“We know that keeping little ones entertained during the holidays can be hard work and incredibly expensive; at The Lost Kingdoms, we have worked hard to bring visitors a fun-filled, educational day out at a price that’s accessible to all.”
Tickets are £12.50 for children and £14.50 for adults, and can be purchased on The Lost Kingdoms website.
