Rockstar Energy presents TRNSMT, the biggest live event in Scotland, has become a staple in the Glasgow music scene over the years, attracting thousands of festival-goers every year. Organised by the same people behind T In The Park, Pepsi Max presents TRNSMT is bringing world-class headliners in 2026, including our very own Lewis Capaldi, Richard Ashcroft and Kasabian.
TRNSMT is a massive music festival taking place at Glasgow Green, first started in 2017. The idea behind the festival is that there are no tents, so party-goers can go home for a good night’s rest at the end of each day.
Past lineups have featured some of the most famous artists from around the world, including Paolo Nutini, Arctic Monkeys, Calvin Harris and The 1975, as well as up-and-coming local talent, making the festival a firm favourite among music fans across Scotland.

Every year, TRNSMT attracts up to 150,000 festival goers across the weekend dates, transforming Glasgow Green into a hub of live music, food and community. Guests can expect performances across multiple stages and hubs, including the main stage, King Tut’s Stage – known for platforming future headliners early in their career like Gerry Cinnamon, Lewis Capaldi and Sam Fender – as well as the BBC Introducing stage, The Hangout, two dance stages, and The Reset area, offering fans at TRNSMT 2025 could meet artists at the BBC Radio 1 Photobooth.
When is Pepsi Max presents TRNSMT 2026?
The dates for Rockstar Energy presents TRNSMT 2026 have officially been announced by the organisers last night (November 3). Next year, the festivities are kicking off earlier between Friday, June 19 and Sunday, June 21, 2026.
Scotland’s biggest screen to watch the World Cup
Announced as the fourth headliner is Scotland’s huge World Cup clash with Morocco on Friday, June 19. As a result, the festival will boast Scotland’s biggest screen to watch the big game, as bosses have decided to bring forward Richard Ashcroft’s performance to give fans a chance to cheer for Scotland.

The game kicks off at 11pm on June 19th, and the headliner performance will finish before then.
Geoff Ellis, CEO of DF Concerts said: “This is going to be a historic moment for the festival and one we are incredibly excited about, it’s sure to be a night that will live long in the memory. I couldn’t think of a better addition to the Main Stage lineup than the Scotland national team, and showing the game will create a unique atmosphere, bringing the Hampden roar to Glasgow Green.”
“Giving our fans the chance to see their favourite bands and then watch the game with thousands of Scotland fans in a World Cup is the stuff dreams are made of, and it shows exactly how TRNSMT is much more than a music festival.”
“We’ll be providing the most exciting place to watch the game in the country with our screens even higher than Scott McTominay’s bicycle kick. I want to thank Glasgow City Council and partners for their continued collaboration. We can’t wait to show the world that yes sir, TRNSMT can boogie.”
