A wellness retreat with the stunning backdrop of Loch Lomond already sounds like a dream, however, what if we told you there will also be naughty sheep? That’s right, a Woolly Wellness retreat is coming to Cameron House, boasting an afternoon tea with sheep, as well as yoga, meditation and, of course, beautiful vistas of the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond.
Cameron House is a five-star luxury resort located within 400 acres of picturesque Scottish countryside at Loch Lomond. Boasting 208 elegant bedrooms, the hotel offers 28 prestigious suites, as well as 115 lodges and self-catering apartments that sleep up to 8 people. Within the premises, guests can indulge in an award-winning spa with a rooftop infinity pool, an 18-hole championship golf course (plus an additional 9-hole course) and a range of restaurants and bars.
What is more, there is also a state-of-the-art Leisure Club, a 29-seat cinema, a 234-berth marina, and a choice of resort activities. Visitors can enjoy jet skiing, loch cruises, seaplane trips, falconry, pony treks, clay pigeon shooting, 4×4 off-road driving adventures, bike hire and more. I mean, the list just never ends!
The new Wolly Wellness retreat will begin with a Yoga Flow session, guided by health and wellbeing expert Rivkah Goldberg. After stretching, energising and strengthening the mind and body in nature, the experience will then be followed by a quintessentially British afternoon tea in the meadow, ‘hosted’ by Herdwick sheep Hamish and Dougal with “questionable table manners” from Naughty Sheep.
Become part of the flock and enjoy delicious homemade treats and savoury bites, all made using local produce, whilst discovering the impact of ‘cuddle power’ by petting and cuddling with your sheep tablemates. The retreat ends with a 60-minute sound healing meditation session in the studio, with twinkly lights and plush pillows, with sounds and sensations of a gong, crystal bowls and Sanskrit singing for total relaxation and peace. Finally, the day will culminate by the Loch with a three-course dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, Cameron Grill.
Priced from £397 per person, the Woolly Wellness retreat package starts on March 26 taking place on a monthly basis, and includes an overnight stay, an afternoon wellness retreat at The Naughty Sheep, complimentary transport and a three-course dinner and hearty Scottish breakfast in the Cameron Grill, alongside access to the resort’s Leisure Club, boasting a swimming pool, sauna, bubble pool, steam room and fully-equipped gym.
Guests can book their spot on the Cameron House website.
