Mrs Claus is making a special visit to the oldest bar and restaurant in Glasgow, Slons’, this season, inviting wee ones for a storytime session, bringing the art of storytelling to life. Plus, the beloved Eat Film Christmas is making a welcome return, inviting guests to eat through their favourite festive classics.
A Glasgow landmark since 1797, this characterful venue spans three distinctive levels. The ground floor at Sloans’ sets a lively scene with its vibrant bar and bistro, while the first floor provides an intimate mix of private dining and main restaurant seating, topped off by an elegant ballroom on the second. Out back, the open-air courtyard stands as one of the city’s favourite gathering spots for an alfresco drink, even during the colder months.
Mrs Claus’s Christmas storytime
Some seriously festive family fun is coming to Sloans’ this December, as Mrs Claus is taking some time away from the North Pole to come to Glasgow and share her stories with little believers – and she’s bringing stories, songs, and plenty of festive fun. Aimed at younger children, the event is set up on the first floor of the venue, which has just gone through a major £500,000 revamp introducing a new dining concept.
Plus, every guest will receive a Christmas cookie and hot chocolate, with festive colouring and the chance to make their very own bag of magical reindeer food to take home and sprinkle out on Christmas Eve, ready for Rudolph and his friends.
And, of course, visitors can check that they’re on the Nice List for Santa this year!
