As Glasgow heads into the festive season, excitement is in the air as the first Winter Wonderland Christmas Market location at St Enoch opens tomorrow (November 6).
The Big Phat Brunch
What is more, the organisers have just announced the launch of the Big Phat Brunch at the Glasgow Green location. The boozy brunch will feature Go Radio DJ and producer Stevie Lennon bringing “massive anthems, high-energy tunes”, games and plenty of fun. Taking place on Sunday, December 6 between 1pm and 5pm at the Alpine Lodge Bar at Glasgow Green, the event promises “the party of the season”.
Tickets for the event, which is strictly for over 18s only, cost £15.18 and can be purchased from the Glasgow Winter Wonderland website.
Jensen Taylor Connelly of Scotland’s Theme Park Events, who are behind Glasgow’s Winter
Wonderland said: “If you love dancing and a great time out, this event is not to be missed
and what’s more, you can still be home at a decent time.
“Stevie knows all the classic tunes to get the dance floor jumping, and there will be lots of games and laughs guaranteed.”
Glasgow Winter Wonderland at St Enoch
As there’s only one sleep until Glasgow Winter Wonderland at St Enoch opens its doors tomorrow (November 6), visitors can start preparing to take a ride on the massive Observation Wheel, offering stellar views across the city.
Plus, the usual festive bar will be there, offering a well-deserved drink, as well as all-day live entertainment. As for the food, guests can enjoy the same Christmas market favourites, like traditional bratwurst fresh from the Swing Grill. And, of course, browsing through a generous selection of stalls from local vendors is at the heart of the matter itself.
Glasgow Winter Wonderland at Glasgow Green
Glasgow Green is where the big events will be held at this year, opening its doors on November 20, and open until January 3. On top of the Big Phat Brunch, a new circus act, A Very Merry Circus, has just been announced, along with the massive ice rink, Alpine bar, as well as Santa’s Grotto, where you can meet the big man himself.
