1. The Modern Institute
The Modern Institute is the perfect place for contemporary art lovers, boasting plenty of exhibitions. 2. Gallery of Modern Art
It just wouldn’t be a list of the best art galleries in Glasgow without the Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA). Comfortably situated in front of the beloved Duke of Wellington statue and its cone, the gallery hosted some Turner Prize winners, and even Banksy himself. What is more, the majestic building is also home to the gallery’s educational facilities.

3. The Burrell Collection
The Burrell Collection is probably our personal favourite, and it’s not just because it’s located in Pollok Country Park with all the Highland cows. The newly refurbished, MASSIVE building is home to 24 galleries of around 9,000 works, ranging from Chinese art to fine art. The spot was named “Museum of the Year” in 2023, and also hosts a monthly foodie farmers market.

4. Glasgow Print Studio
Glasgow Print Studio is a multi-faceted space spread across three floors, offering workshop spaces, educational facilities, a retail gallery and a main gallery. The space is a non-profit organisation supported by Creative Scotland and Glasgow City Council, focusing on modern print-making, from etchings to screenprints.

5. Kelvingrove Art Gallery And Museum
