The Coca-Cola Christmas truck that has graced our screens since 1995 is back and it’s embarking on its 2022 tour around the UK. To perk us up for the festive season, Coca-Cola has announced that it will return and will be handing out their cans of free Coca-Cola from their festive truck.
The truck – that I used to believe was Father Christmas’ new and improved sleigh – is planning to make stops at supermarket branches across the country, as well as some shopping centres too, however, these dates and destinations will gradually be announced. To continue with the 2022 tour, the Coca-Cola Christmas truck will be making its way back to Scotland and stop at Glasgow’s Silverburn Shopping Centre on December 16 & 17 from 11:30am, to bring plenty of festive freebies and joy.
Visitors will be able to get their festive fill of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and Coca-Cola Original, as well as the opportunity for some seasonal selfies in front of the iconic red truck in a “magical winter wonderland setting”. Plus, this year, the tour’s theme is “Your Presence is Your Present” where Coca-Cola teamed up with charity Fareshare to help to aid those experiencing food poverty.
Senior Brand Manager at The Coca-Cola Company, Laura Moon, said: “Coca-Cola has always been synonymous with Christmas, particularly the iconic Truck Tour and Holidays Are Coming advert. This year, the magic of Christmas is needed more than ever, and we are excited to bring back our famous truck tour to fans nationwide.”
