Here to brighten up our summer and take us to a chilled paradise without having to hop on a plane is one of the Glasgow’s biggest beer gardens. Right by the River Clyde, Cranside Kitchen has been given a sun-kissed makeover for the summer season, which will see the popular outdoor dining, drinking and entertainment destination return bigger, brighter and bolder with the launch of their summer gardens.
From June 28, Cranside Kitchen will be reimagined like never before, with three new spaces and the ultimate summertime glow-up transforming the venue into the place to be this season. The massive Summer Gardens will feature palm trees, garden picnic tables and benches, and a beach hut Tiki style bar, as well as a giant ‘Aperol Tuscan Tree’ to soak up the sun under and a ‘Kopparberg Love Swing’ to create and capture your sunset ‘instagrammable moment’ with friends and family overlooking Glasgow’s iconic Finnieston Crane.
Guests can relax in the sun while sipping a cocktail at the new Terraza Di Aperol and Walled Gardens, while the Sugar Hut Bar’s new watering hole will serve punch bowls, cocktail slushies, and tropical fruit juices to quench the thirst of Glasgow’s sun-seekers.
New resident food kitchens will also be added to the bill- The BBQ Pit Stop offering a Spanish style BBQ menu serving burgers, grilled dogs, tender pulled pork and fall off the bone ribs while Sugar’ Da will provide your favourite ice creams, cakes, cooling sorbets and fruity lollies. Poke Bowl and The Big Breakfast are also new for 2022, offering healthy and hearty options to please all palates. This June, a choice of ten restaurant brands, including Romanos, Halloumi, Kilmurry & Co, NORI, and XI’AN, will be available on the Cranside app alongside these brands.
There will also be live DJs every Friday and Saturday night with the introduction of the Asahi Sunset Club as well as a newly added Chill Out Zone with fire pits, bean bags, and deck chairs for lazy daytime lounging. Throughout the months ahead, the Summer Gardens at Cranside Kitchen will host a variety of live entertainment including brunches, comedy nights and acoustic sessions.
