Singing the day away with back-to-back tunes from the most heart-warming cult classics with a bellini in hand, as well as gin flowing freely. All that and more is coming to the 90s-themed boozy brunch at the rooftop bar VEGA on Saturday, September 16. The Brunch Project will be welcoming 90s and cocktail fans from 12pm, and it’s the perfect day out with your pals.
Taking place the third Saturday of each month, The Brunch Project will see VEGA celebrate super fun themes, sure to become a new staple for Glasgow’s city-centre brunch scene. Moreover, the rooftop bar also hosts Boozy Disco Brunches that proved to be a hit amongst Secret Glasgow readers.
With this month’s brunch set to liven things up, guests can live out their 90s dreams, making a day of it with some great company.
VEGA’s live DJ will spin non-stop tunes with their 90s-themed soundtrack. Plus, brunch-goers will have the chance to celebrate in style with plenty of cocktails available, created by leading mixologist John Russell. The brunch will include welcome snacks, two Grey Goose cocktails, one brunch main meal and half a bottle of prosecco per person for VEGA’s special ‘Build Your Own’ Bellini Stations.
What is more, the event will be taking inspiration from supermodels like Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, taking guests back in time. To further get bruch goers in the fashion mood, there will be guest pop-ups including a new fashion brand, Gagga, with handbags designed by Scottish influencer Abigail Comrie.
For the main meal, brunchers can choose between Huevos Rancheros, French Toast and Crispy Bacon, or the venue’s classic brunch dish, Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Waffles. So, the movie-themed boozy brunch is the perfect way to celebrate friendships this May, so you’re guaranteed to have the ‘time of your life’!
You can book The Brunch Project tickets on VEGA’s website and there will be no walk-in tickets available.
And if you’re not done with partying, you can head back to VEGA on Sunday, September 17 at 2pm, where the venue will host a lineup of influential personalities from across Scotland’s fashion industry for a free panel of inspiring conversation. You can expect to see multi-award-winning luxury fashion designer Siobhan Mackenzie, Scottish model, stylist, and magazine editor Jerome Kasusula, Scottish influencer and owner of Gagga brand, Abigail Comrie, and dynamic duo, Amy Moore and Kirsten Cameron from top influencer agency, Aquarius Creative.
