In August, Glasgow became New York City for the filming of Spiderman: A Brand New Day, starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, providing locals with plenty of memorable moments to observe during ‘action’. And now, film crews are descending upon the UK’s friendliest city once again, back for a major mystery film or series this March.
Starting from March 27, the West End of Glasgow will become a new filming location, with the name of what the filming is for is still being kept under wraps. However, so far there have been rumours of it being an Apple TV production.
As a result, Glasgow City Council has granted permission for the closure of a few streets during the filming period. Locals should expect restrictions on Royal Crescent, Kelvingrove Street and Sauchiehall Street.
Moreover, The Casting Collective is currently looking for film extras in Glasgow, starting in Spring, which means it could be for the same project!
