The sun is officially coming back to Glasgow, and it’s just in time for the Spring Bank Holiday weekend. And what a way to enjoy that extra day off than to head outside to enjoy the glorious sunshine? So, let’s prepare to spend some time outside, grab a well-deserved pint at the beer garden and spend some quality time with our pals, because it’s going to get up to 23 degrees on Sunday, May 24, with the whole long weekend basking in pleasant temperatures over 20 degrees.
According to The Met Office, Saturday, May 23 is going to see highs of 21 degrees and lows of 10, while Sunday will be the hottest day of the week, with 23 degrees and sunny intervals, and lows of 11 degrees.
According to AccuWeather, Monday, May 25, will be spent basking in long periods of sunshine and 21 degrees, while Tuesday will still see 22 degrees and sun! Wednesday and Thursday, May 28, will still be warm with 21 degrees (although it might rain on Wednesday), and Friday, May 29, will cool down with highs of 18 degrees.

The Met Office said in their forecast for May 23 to June 1: “Saturday will be warm with some showery weather and even a chance of thunderstorms in places. Then by Sunday and through Bank Holiday Monday, warm and fair weather is expected to prevail. Through the following week, high pressure is expected to broadly remain in place for much of the UK, and fine weather is likely to continue for most of the country.
There may be occasions where low pressure to the north may bring some brief spells of rain across northern parts, but in general, fair weather will dominate. Temperatures are expected to be above normal, feeling very warm at times with light winds.”
