Trip to the park, anyone?
After a pretty dark and dismal winter in the UK dealing with the usual lack of sunlight and not-so-normal lockdown, things might finally be on the up. According to BBC Weather, Glasgow could see gorgeous highs of 16°C on Thursday and possibly 18°C on Friday (April 22-23), along with prolonged spells of sunshine.
And, if you’re like us – counting down the days until each new stage of the roadmap out of lockdown – you’ll know this comes at a pretty decent time. The Gods must be slightly in our favour (for now). That’s because we can now meet in groups of six outdoors again, and for once, the weather may be on our side.
What better time to get a little preview of summer as Spring is still settling in? It might not be ‘taps aff’ but it may see Scotland be the brief envy of even the most scorching Mediterranean destinations, weather-wise. That’s because, at 16°C, Glasgow is slated to be warmer than Barcelona’s 15°C over this two-day period.
