Perched on the eighth floor of The Social Hub at Candleriggs Square, SíSí Rooftop offers a contemporary, relaxed, and high-energy atmosphere that transitions seamlessly from day to night.
Whether you prefer the stylish interior or the breeze of the freshly redone open-air terrace, the venue provides a front-row seat to some of the best views in the city. Having reopened for the season, guests can enjoy the outdoor space for the duration of the summer, after it opened on August 1 last year.
The updated space boasts bookable dining-height tables, relaxed sofa areas for groups, and dedicated standing space for walk-in drinkers. What is more, guests can still expect those late-night DJ sessions, and the new space features a dedicated DJ area, with plans for surprise pop-up sets in the sunshine from resident DJs across the summer.
The culinary offerings focus on sustainability, utilising locally-sourced ingredients and eco-conscious suppliers. The menu highlights fresh, vibrant sharing plates such as steak tartare tostadas and hand-dived scallop ceviche verde, rounded out by a selection of bar snacks and desserts.
Darren Blackburn said: “We’ve had such a strong response to the rooftop since opening that it felt like the right time to build on that and take it up a level for summer. People really embraced the space, so this is about refining it and giving them more of what they come here for.
“This is the first time we’re heading into a full summer season, so we’ve thought carefully about how people want to use the rooftop, whether that’s booking in with friends or just dropping by. It’s all about making it feel easy and flexible, and ready for those longer evenings.
“We’re also looking to make more of the space with music and events across the summer, so there’s plenty still to come.”
