A burger for less than a pound, and from Hard Rock Cafe, nonetheless? Well, the globally renowned brand is celebrating its 52nd anniversary on Wednesday, June 14, having opened in 1971. Therefore, the Hard Rock Cafe burgers have been slashed to just 71p for a limited amount of time to mark the special day.
The Hard Rock brand was launched in London in 1971, and ended up touching almost every corner of the globe with their casinos, hotels, and cafes. To celebrate, the Buchanan Street restaurant is offering 71p Country Burgers for the first 71 minutes of opening this Wednesday from 11am until 12:11pm. The burgers normally cost £16.45, so burger lovers can indulge in the slashed prices on seasoned and stacked burgers with all the extras: expect American cheese, pickles, and delicious house-made burger sauce.
What is more, the staff will dress up in their best 70s-themed get-up, transporting guests back to when Hard Rock Cafe first opened.
However, those who are busy on Wednesday afternoon shouldn’t worry either, as the celebrations will continue throughout the week. Most of us are well familiar with the Classic Hard Rock Cafe T-shirt, and the famous piece of clothing is also being celebrated during the week. From Monday, June 12 until Sunday, June 18, Hard Rock is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its launch by creating an offer including meals and the t-shirt.
Guests who opt for the Legendary Burger, alongside a drink in a full-size souvenir glass, will be eligible for 50% off the Classic Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow Tee at the Rock Shop.
So, whether you’re trying to snag that 71p burger at the Hard Rock Cafe on Wednesday afternoon or wanting to add the Glasgow t-shirt to the collection, enjoy a week of deals and make the most of it.
