1. Fat Hippo’s festive burgers

One restaurant introducing a Christmas special for the festive season is the amazing Fat Hippo. The Glasgow restaurant is trying to go one better this festive season by combining some of the best components served on Christmas Day into one tasty burger. Available at their Vincent Street restaurant, burger fans can enjoy 𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗦 𝗚𝗥𝗨𝗕𝗘𝗥-𝗚𝗘𝗥 with a beef patty, pork stuffing patty, American cheese, maple-basted Southern fried chicken, cranberry jello and Christmas ‘slaw, served with Festive Fries that come with dirty cheese and gravy. Popular pancake restaurant, Stack & Still, has introduced their Christmas stacks and boy do they mean business. For all lovers of a savoury pancake, Stack & Still has combined their fluffy pancakes with Christmassy ingredients to create an unreal festive food special. Stack & Still’s signature buttermilk stack is topped with slices of succulent turkey ballotine, pigs in blankets, roast vegetables and roast potatoes, topped with shallot gravy and cranberry sauce. For sweet pancake lovers, Stack & Still has also created the Double Stack Ginger Spiced Pancakes with warm Christmas pudding, toffee sauce, vanilla ice cream, lotus crumb, mint and icing sugar.

Equal parts weird and wonderful, Nonna Said’s festive special is perfect to indulge in this December by flinging all a Christmas dinner on a pizza, mainly with Turkey dinosaurs as the main topping. The pizza is slathered in rich gravy making it perfect alongside that soft-centred crust, plus you’ll find onion stuffing, turkey dinosaurs, cranberries and sage to bring all the festive feels.

The Butterfly and The Pig’s roast Christmas dinner menu is filled with meat, and all main meals and roasts are served with yummy traditional trimmings, chipolatas, roast potatoes, Brussels sprouts, roast vegetables, sausage stuffing and gallons of gravy. The roast chicken glazed in honey orange and cloves sounds amazing, and for vegans, the wellington stuffed with roast butternut squash, chestnuts, vegan haggis and cranberries should also hit the spot.

The bagel shop has introduced a festive food special: say hello to Saint Chris-Eats wholemeal bagel with stuffing, turkey, carrots & parsnips, rocket, bacon and cranberry. What is more, every 50p from the sales will go to the Peek Project local charity that works with children, youth and families to help improve lives.
7. Christmas Goes Rogue at The Loveable Rogue

The Loveable Rogue, one of the hippest gastropubs in Glasgow, opened a second restaurant location in the city’s East End on December 4. Now, weegies will have the chance to try out their December festive food menu in both locations, and they’re in for a treat. And well, Christmas truly goes rogue at The Loveable Rogue. To start, you can go with the velouté of celeriac & apple, crispy ox tongue, and the organic turkey ballotine with chiffonade sprouts, crispy pancetta, glazed vegetables and turkey jus should get those taste buds going for the main.
