1. Fat Hippo’s festive burgers

One restaurant introducing a Christmas special for the festive season is the amazing Fat Hippo. The Glasgow restaurant is trying to go one better this festive season by combining some of the best components served on Christmas Day into one tasty burger. Available at their Vincent Street restaurant, burger fans can enjoy 𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗦 𝗚𝗥𝗨𝗕𝗘𝗥-𝗚𝗘𝗥 with a beef patty, pork stuffing patty, American cheese, maple-basted Southern fried chicken, cranberry jello and Christmas ‘slaw, served with Festive Fries that come with dirty cheese and gravy. And if that wasn’t enough, our vegan friends can indulger in the 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗬𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗡𝗢 𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗞 burger with Southern fried plant-based patty, deep fried vegan halloumi, cranberry jello, maple fakon and Christmas ‘slaw, also served with Festive Fries. Popular pancake restaurant, Stack & Still, has introduced their Christmas stacks and boy do they mean business. For all lovers of a savoury pancake, Stack & Still has combined their fluffy pancakes with Christmassy ingredients to create an unreal festive food special. Stack & Still’s signature Roast Turkey stack is topped with slices of succulent turkey ballotine, pigs in blankets, roast vegetables and roast potatoes, topped with shallot gravy and cranberry sauce. For sweet pancake lovers, Stack & Still has also created the Mulled Pear and Gingerbread Stack Pancakes with warm Mulled Spiced Poached Pears, mascarpone, walnuts, gingerbread crumb, gingerbread syrup, caramel sauce, white chocolate sauce. Nonna Said is constantly coming up with innovative pizzas including ones topped with gold leaf and a breakfast-style one that could be the ultimate hangover cure. Equal parts weird and wonderful, Nonna Said’s festive special is perfect to indulge in this December, with their Salt ‘n’ Chilli Pigs in blankets pizza. The pizza comes with sugo, mozzarella, pigs in blankets, curry mayo, chilli and topped with spring onions.
5. The Butterfly and The Pig’s Christmas Roasts

Taking Christmas dinner to a whole new level in Glasgow, the Bath Street restaurant is stuffed to the brim with options to choose from. The Butterfly and The Pig’s roast Christmas dinner menu is filled with meat, and all main meals and roasts are served with yummy traditional trimmings, chipolatas, roast potatoes, Brussels sprouts, roast vegetables, sausage stuffing and gallons of gravy. The roast chicken glazed in honey orange and cloves sounds amazing, and for vegans, the Wellington stuffed with roast butternut squash, chestnuts, vegan haggis and cranberries should also hit the spot.

A festive pancake? Yes, please! Head to Glasgow Fort until December 29 and treat yourself to a festive pancake, with white chocolate, cranberry and cinnamon. It’s being sold by Dutch Pancake at the Glasgow Fort Christmas market.
