Highland cows, white sand and bright blue waters on a pristine Atlantic ocean beach sound like something out of a dream, but this magical sight actually exists in Scotland. Home to the best beaches in the UK and maybe even the world (minus the wind and rain), the country offers some amazing staycations.
Hushinish beach is located in the Outer Hebrides on the West of the Isle of Harris, and can be reached on a 12-mile single lane road with stunning vistas throughout. Isle of Harris is well-known for its pristine beaches that look like you’re in the Caribbean, as well as a strong sense of community.
