Does anyone ACTUALLY leave TripAdvisor reviews for beaches? Apparently, they do! And, four out of the five most top-rated beaches in the UK are in Scotland! That’s right, our country boasts the best beaches in the UK, voted for by those who visited in real life.
Chicks Gold has conducted a survey to find the best beaches in the UK, going through TripAdvisor to make it happen. The research only included beaches that had a four-star ranking or higher, ranked based on the percentage of five-star reviews compared to the total number of reviews.

As the Outer Hebrides is an otherworldly part of Scotland that will make you feel like you’re in the Caribbean, Luskentyre Beach in Harris, Scotland, came first in the study with 93.79% of reviews giving the spot five stars. Visitors can marvel at the beach’s white sands and its turquoise waters. Moreover, Luskentyre Beach was named one of the UK’s best beaches in the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards.

A spokesperson for Chicks Gold said: “Scotland dominates the list of best UK beaches, claiming four out of the top five spots. Scottish beaches can often be overlooked for southern destinations, but these reviews show how extraordinary these locations really are.
“These beaches are more remote than usual seaside towns that are overrun during the summer months. They offer visitors a quieter, more picturesque experience that is truly breathtaking.”
