Glasgow is welcoming the beginning of the festive season as the Christmas Lights Switch On is on Sunday, November 19. This means the official inauguration of the Christmas market season for this year, and every other Christmas-related activity out there. While we haven’t put up our Christmas trees just yet, the time to enjoy Glasgow’s superb ice rinks has come. So, here’s our list of the best ice rinks in Glasgow for this holiday season.
1. George Square Ice Rink
George Square, Glasgow
From November 25, George Square Winterfest will be inviting visitors for a glide on the central ice rink. On top of all the festive gliding action, you can also expect plenty of festive rides and attractions, including a big wheel, helter-skelter, and a traditional carousel.
