Scotland’s Theme Park is one of the best places for family activities, and to welcome the cosy side of the season. Visitors can not only hunt around for a pumpkin, but also visit all the animals for a cuteness overload. This October, pumpkin enthusiasts can check out the pumpkin patch at the M&D’s Pumpkin Festival and trail before choosing one of their own to carve.
M&D’s Scotland’s Theme Park is bringing back its Pumpkin Festival for another year, inviting families to enjoy its massive pumpkin patch. Located just 20 minutes from Glasgow, the theme park is resurrecting all things autumnal between October 4 and 26.

Located within Strathclyde Country Park, M&D’s is one of Scotland’s top visitor attractions. The theme park boasts thrilling rides for the whole family, as well as a myriad of activities for all age groups.
The park is home to several attractions, such as Amazonia, Devil’s Island Adventure Golf, Cosmic Bowl, a ten-pin bowling alley, and Krazy Congo Soft Play. What is more, guests can indulge in a number of food outlets, from snacks to restaurant meals, including the award-winning American-themed diner Monterey Jack’s.

During the M&D’s Pumpkin Festival, children can hop aboard the Pumpkin Express Train, play Halloween games, or attend one of their Halloween Arts and Crafts sessions.
Jensen Taylor Connelly, Director, said, “With all the great weather we’ve been enjoying, it’s hard to think that autumn is around the corner. However, our Pumpkin Festival is always a popular activity for all the family and a great way to celebrate the new season.”
M&D’s Pumpkin Festival is taking place between October 4 and 26 in 2025, and tickets are £9.95 including a hot drink, or £12.50 including a pumpkin. You can book them here.
