Paul Heaton brings his huge UK arena tour to Glasgow this autumn, celebrating more than 40 years of unforgettable songwriting. Fans can expect a set packed with classics from The Housemartins and The Beautiful South, alongside brand new music from his forthcoming album ‘Jenius‘, released on 21 August 2026.
Produced by Ian Broudie and recorded in Manchester, ‘Jenius’ marks Paul’s 23rd studio album — making this a special chance to hear new songs live alongside some of his biggest and most-loved hits.
The October/November UK tour includes a huge show at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on October 20, alongside London’s O2, Leeds First Direct Arena, Manchester’s Co-Op Live, Liverpool M&S Bank Arena and Sheffield Arena.
Paul Heaton has always looked at the funnier things in life, and a common thread through his music is that same humour. With songs across his discography including Rotterdam, Happy Hour and Don’t Marry Her, there’s something for everyone, and you’re bound to have an absolute blast. What’s more, Paul Heaton has a pretty unique tie to this neck of the woods, being the former owner of Salford‘s iconic King’s Arms pub – so we’ll catch you there for a pint beforehand.
Across all UK dates, Paul Heaton will be joined by long-time friends The Lightning Seeds, the perfect compliment to the nostalgia of the main man’s vibe – set to bring out tunes including The Life of Riley, Song for No One and of course the iconic reclaimed 1996 England football anthem, Three Lions. And being the last night of the tour, oh yeah, it’s going to be a party.
