Videos of The Tartan Army delivering bagpipes and quality patter everywhere they go have been all over our feeds recently. Good vibes are continuing with German media outlet RTL, who released a ranking of the best fans of the 2024 tournament. As expected, Scotland fans were named the best supporters at the Euros 2024.
The Tartan Army started their journey off in Munich with around 150,000 people, with fan Craig Ferguson walking all the way from Glasgow to Germany to help raise funds for a men’s mental health charity. Scotland fans can be found all around Germany, with most of them concentrated in the West of the country.
The best Euros fans ranking was determined by counting the votes from the German channel’s viewers, releasing a list of the 24 countries. Of course, Scotland made it to the top of the list by a Scottish mile, scoring a whopping 52 percent.
While all of the 150,000 Scotland fans are genuinely the best, the Euros journey has, unfortunately, ended for them on Sunday, June 23. Scotland lost against Hungary 0-1, devastating football fans throughout.
Germany gave themselves the humble seventh spot on the list, while England came tenth. France was named the worst Euros 2024 fans, taking the last 24th spot on the list.
