Summer is in full swing here in Scotland, with the Scottish Lavender Oils open for the season. And now, the spot has introduced a Lavender Spa, in partnership with Kallbad.
Scottish Lavender Oils is located in Kinross within Tarhill Farm, and is a local family business with a significant focus on sustainability. The farm’s main purpose is growing lavender, which then gets used for extracting its essential oils used in their own perfume brand, St Andrews Perfurmery.
What is more, the Scottish Lavender Oils is also open to the public while in full bloom before the harvest, offering a magical wee day out that doesn’t feel like you’re in Scotland at all.
The lavender fields are open until August 9 this year, offering daily tours, as well as a wellness treat at a sauna and a cold plunge.
The lavender spa
As lavender is known for its healing and therapeutic properties, guests can now unwind at the Lavender Spa. The sauna is run by Kallbad, which offers 55-minute sauna sessions accompanied by cold plunges and cold buckets for hot-and-cold therapy. What is more, guests can enjoy full access to the lavender fields for the day, including joining the guided tours.
A sauna session and access to the fields costs £24.99, including lavender field access, while a private 55-minute group session is £124.99.
