I’m trying to “espresso” my feelings, but I can’t find the right words… However, a mac and cheese tiramisu might help. That’s right, Sloans has taken Italy’s favourite dessert to a completely different dimension at their monthly SMAC event, introducing a Mac and Cheese Tiramisu.
SMAC stands for Scottish Mac and Cheese Appreciation Club, an all-you-can-eat mac and cheese event, taking place at the beloved pub Sloan’s every month. Each event has a different theme, with the most recent being Italian-themed, therefore birthing the wonderfully weird creation that is the Mac and Cheese Tiramisu.
Sloans posted a video showcasing the unusual creation on Instagram, saying: “Send to a pal who loves Tiramisu and macaroni 👀🧀
Would you try it? The only place to get your hands on this dish along with other weird and wacky mac flavours is at SMAC 😍 SMAC is our all you can eat mac & cheese event, this month our theme was Italian 😚🤌
Tickets for next month’s BBQ themed SMAC are on sale, visit SloansGlasgow.com or visit the link in our bio 🤌🧀”
We can imagine the combo has stirred up some pretty strong opinions on either side, with one person writing online, saying: “everytime someone looks this video an Italian person dies”. Well, that’s definitely a strong opinion.
On July 31, the next SMAC all-you-can-eat mac and cheese event is going to be BBQ-themed, bringing some more creative creations to mac and cheese lovers. Tickets start at £20, getting guests unlimited food, a drink and competition entry for an opportunity to win exclusive SMAC merchandise and £50 itison Venues voucher for Sloans, Brel or Maggie’s Rock n Rodeo.
Tickets are available for purchase now, and you can book them here.
