M&D’s Scotland’s Scream Park is a popular Halloween attraction every year, alongside their pumpkin patch, promising plenty of jump scares to come for 2026. What is more, there is a brand new spooky attraction coming this year – The Curse of Devil’s Island.
Screams, chills and thrills are taking over M&D’s this October: located just 20 minutes from Glasgow, Scotland’s largest theme park is bringing three Halloween attractions for visitors to get terrified at. There are three themes for 2026 – Abduction, Freakshow: Final Curtain, and, for
the first time, The Curse of Devil’s Island.
The Scream Park experiences are “unique to Scotland”, boasting immersive horror entertainment not for the faint-hearted between October 9 and 31.
Abduction will have guests trying to escape to save their life, while Freakshow: Final Curtain will require thrill-seekers to “step inside the big top one last time for the epic final of the Freak
show trilogy, where the acts are deranged and desperate, the madness is real and every
show demands a new sacrifice”.
The Curse of Devil’s Island will see darkness fall over Scotland, with dense fog and the ghostly pirate Captain Blackthorne, his ghostly crew and siren song luring unsuspecting visitors to their demise.
It is important to add that the immersive horror experiences at Scotland’s Scream Park are not suitable for children under the age of 14, while those aged 14 and 15 can only participate if a parent or guardian completes a waiver on arrival.
Jensen Taylor Conelly, Director of M&D’s, said, “With three scare attractions on offer, we’ve
extended this year’s event to give thrill-seekers the ultimate Scream Park experience, which
is unique in Scotland. With lots of jump scares, we’d advise bringing your friends to hang on
to for support!”
What is more, visitors can enjoy thrill rides in the dark after the experiences, with unlimited rides included in the ticket price.
