Pizza lovers, rejoice! Manchester favourites Rudy’s is officially coming to Glasgow this autumn, bringing their first restaurant in Scotland.
Rudy’s was ranked 23rd on the World’s 50 Best Pizzerias list last year, boasting their beloved Neapolitan pizzas, done the right way. The spot is also the largest business in the world to have been accredited by the prestigious Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN), which is the official international protection body for traditional Neapolitan pizza making.
Rudy’s Glasgow
Rudy’s Glasgow is located at 35 Gordon Street, boasting 135 seats, and is the company’s 42nd restaurant since opening in Manchester in 2015 for the first time. Now, the spot is one of the UK’s most beloved pizzerias, with plenty of accolades to show for it.
Managing director of Rudy’s, Neal Bates, said: “Establishing a Scottish home for Rudy’s has long been an ambition of ours, so we can’t wait to welcome the people of Glasgow through our doors. Although known for the people who make it, the city has such a vibrant and diverse food and drink scene that we are buzzing to become part of, as we say ciao to our new neighbours and celebrate our opening.”
