We’re obsessed with dog pictures, so this news is an absolute delight to break. A brand new dog adventure park, Unleash The Dogs, is opening in Glasgow this weekend, inviting all the dugs to enjoy the best day outs. The secure dog park spans over 1.5 acres, with plenty of space to run around and props to climb on or under.
Unleash The Dogs already owns three other fields in Hillington, Uddingston and Carmunnock, but the team behind the venture thinks the new Bishopbriggs dog adventure park is the “best in Scotland”. Furry friends can expect a variety of ramps, platforms and other agility equipment, made from a mixture of sustainably sourced materials. On top of the brand new park, Hllington is also getting a wee expansion, meaning there are, basically, two new openings on May 25, 2024.
What is more, the owners have taken feedback from their current sites to make the Hillington and Bishopbriggs dog fields the most enjoyable for all involved. Owners will have the chance to book slots for up to 8 dogs, with private access to run around in the adventure park. Those interested can book the slots on the Unleash The Dogs Website.
The Hillington park can be found just off the M8 on Arkleston Road, just a wee five-minute drive from Braehead Shopping Centre, while Bishopbriggs adventure park is set alongside the Forth & Clyde canal and is just a few minute’s drive from Bishopbriggs, Kirkintilloch and Bearsden.
Co-founder Craig said: “It’s a huge milestone for us to be able to open the Bishopbriggs site. Unleash The Dogs now have accessible locations covering the North, South, East & West of the city, meaning Glasgow residents can access any park by car in less than 15 minutes.
We have kept the bar incredibly high with the design and build of our latest fields. Our team are constantly challenging themselves to improve our offering in every aspect. We have learned so much from our existing sites and we believe that these new fields are at the very top of their game. We hope these new additions will be just as popular as the other sites across the city and we are incredibly excited to continue this journey of growth.”
