Now that’s a beautiful combo we can get behind – indulgent hot chocolates accompanied by a side of a colourful, yet tiny bouquet of flowers. Well, Uplands Roast has partnered with green. florists in Glasgow, offering the best of both worlds, with a touch of care and romance.
Uplands Roast is located at Kelvingrove Park at The Rail Yard, an outdoor market garden that boasts not only a food hall and drinks spots, but also a regular Farmer’s Market every Saturday between 10am and 3pm.
Uplands Roast offers direct-trade Vietnamese coffee, as well as their famous hot chocolate with those huge toasted marshmallows, while green. is a Glasgow-based freelance florist. green. will also be at the Farmer’s Market on Saturday, February 14, offering fresh floral arrangements to those looking for something special.

With the new Valentine’s Day collaboration, visitors can expect a fresh mini bouquet of locally-sourced flowers with any hot drink for £10, available between February 12 and 15. The initiative went viral almost immediatelly, with over six thousand likes and hundreds of comments welcoming the gorgeous new bundle.
One commenter suggested on their Instagram post: “I think you should make this permanent if you can. I don’t know any other shops that do this and it’s such a wholesome little treat 💐❤️”, and we couldn’t agree more!
Another person said: “This has got to be one of the sweetest things I have seen in a long time ….what a lovely gesture to give”.
And, of course, Glaswegians also came in with their usual patter: “This warms my cold heart of stone 😍”.
And let’s face it – you can, and probably absolutely should, treat yourself to a wee Proper Hot Chocolate and a flower arrangement, even if you’re not buying the bundle for anyone else!
