It’s finally happening: St Enoch Square has turned into a festive wonderland, inviting guests to get into the spirit of the season at the Winterfest Christmas market. From 11am today (November 10), visitors can visit Winterfest filled with stalls from local businesses, as well as ride on the Santa’s train and a number of kid’s rides.
Winterland at St Enoch Square marks the official start of the festive season in Glasgow, as locals and visitors alike are excited to light up the darker months (6pm literally feels like 9pm nowadays, by the way).
Of course, visitors can expect a festive bar on top of the stalls and rides, so fear not, for there will be plenty of mulled wine to go around. There will also be a new platform for local artists, and entry to the event is free. Winterfest at St Enoch Square is open between 11am and 10pm every day from November 10 to December 30.
What is more, Winterfest at George Square is open from November 25 until January 4.
