SWG3 and Yardworks Studio have announced the return of Yardworks Festival, bringing back the yearly celebration of street art and graffiti. The festival is set to host some of the world’s biggest and best urban artists in Glasgow, with 2026 expected to be the biggest year yet.
Yardworks Festival is taking place on May 2 and 3 at the Galvanizers Yard outdoor space, the leading multi-disciplinary arts venue. The space will transform into a kingdom of colour and creativity, giving local talent the chance to work side-by-side with well-known artists including French muralist Williann, Glasgow-based painter David ‘PizzaBoy’ Breen, Scottish artist KMG and more.
Guests can expect upcycling workshops using repurposed cans from the festival and previous Yardworks projects, as well as enjoy street food and craft cocktails. There are also lots of things to do along Eastvale Place, the street leading down to SWG3, which will be closed off to traffic, with artists working throughout the whole road.
What is more, the anniversary edition will see The Family Zone fully programmed in-house from the SWG3 Warehouse and included within the ticket price, with plenty of creative activities for children and families.

New paid workshops are also coming this year, including signwriting, Japanese calligraphy and paste-ups, alongside a dedicated screen-printing station where visitors can produce a limited-edition Yardworks tote bag. Plus, visitors can expect new talks, with a book launch, film screening and roundtable discussions bringing multiple art disciplines together.

Gary Mackay (Gaz Mac), Yardworks Creative Director, said: “Yardworks has always been about more than just watching artists paint walls. It’s about creating space for exchange between artists, audiences and the city itself.
In 2026, we’re expanding that even further, with new workshops, industry conversations and the chance to explore the wider Street Art District that’s grown around us. Every year the ambition gets bigger, and we can’t wait to see what this edition becomes.”
