You Can Enjoy £5 Cocktails, Tastings And Masterclasses At This Year’s Glasgow Cocktail Week

This boozy event is set to shake and stir things up in the city!

Cocktails are quite possibly one of the best creations and they may just be one out there for everyone. Luckily for Glaswegians, the city is hosting a week dedicated to splendid and mouthwatering cocktails created by local bars, restaurants, hotels and more.

Taking place from September 24 to October 3, Glasgow Cocktail Week is set to bring the party with a jam-packed line-up of 11 fun new cocktail events, master classes and immersive tastings announced in partnership with Halewood Artisanal Spirits. From making in your very own mojito at The Citizen to enjoying a four course dinner at Ralph and Finns alongside imaginative drinks pairings, there’s an cocktail event to suit your taste.

Celebrating cocktail culture across the city, almost 40 of Glasgow’s most loved venues are taking part to bring memorable moments and delicious drinks to the festival including The Citizen, Abandon Ship Bar, VEGA, Fore Play Crazy Golf, Champagne Central and The Gate. Ticket holders will once again have access to hundreds of exclusive discounted cocktails and unlock Glasgow Cocktail Week menus featuring imaginative £5 serves with their wristbands at a host of top venues across the city.

Glasgow Cocktail Week organiser, Nicola Moir, explains: “It’s official, it’s our biggest ever line up and we can’t wait for Glasgow to join us to celebrate the best cocktails in the city! We’re bringing memorable moments back with our jam-packed Glasgow Cocktail Week festival that’s guaranteed to bring the party. There’s an exciting programme of new events and top venues taking part this year, and this is a great way to get your friends together and enjoy the best of Glasgow’s bars. ”

New for this year and kicking off Glasgow Cocktail Week is VEGA, where visitors can enjoy the best views of the city as you dance the night away to cheesy hits, dance classics or disco at their neon-lit silent disco in the sky, each soundtracked with a beautiful cocktail. The bar will be serving the likes of a JJ Whitley Espresso Martini, a Scottish bramble with Whitley Neill gin and a Dead Man’s Fingers Tiki punch with a few surprises to boot.

Then on September 26, they’ll be a fun-filled gin Sunday session soundtracked with live jazz and the best of Scottish seafood at The Finnieston. The first 60 ticket holders will receive a complimentary cocktail as part of their All Access ticket price, plus guests will be able to enjoy £1 Oysters and £5 cocktails.

For all the brunch and cocktail lovers there are two show-stopping events during Glasgow Cocktail Week just for you. There will be a brunch bingo (free for ticket holders) taking place at The Gate on October 3 featuring slushies and silly prizes, as well as Gold Standard Brunch series with a menu of coffee-led martinis dusted in gold leaf plus brunch dishes, with more details to come soon.

The full venue line-up includes: Anchor Line, Bowlarama, Champagne Central, The Citizen, Cul Cuil, Dakota, The Finnieston, Fore Play Crazy Golf, Gin71, Insomia Espresso Martini Bar, Kelvingrove Cafe, Lebowskis, Metropolitan, Moskito, Nonna Said, Parlour, Platform, Porter & Rye, Ralph & Finns, Spiritualist, St Lukes, Tabac, The Atlantic, The Brunch Club, The DAM, The Gate, TIKI bar, VEGA and Vodka Wodka.

Guests that purchase an All Access ticket for £10, will enjoy one session at the silent disco in the sky at VEGA, a wristband to unlock exclusive menus and £5 drinks at the festival and your pick of the events.
