Tulip season is officially here to brighten things up after a long, grey winter, and Scotland’s floral scene is definitely showing up. Leading the charge is Gloagburn Farm Shop in Tibbermore, Perth, which is set to bring back its stunning tulip field this April.
Known for its cosy coffee shop, scratch bakery, butchery, and curated gift shop, Gloagburn Farm Shop is a go-to for local produce, as well as the tulip field in April. But this spring, the real draw is the massive outdoor display—with even more to look forward to when their sunflower fields bloom this summer.
You’ll find over 70,000 bulbs featuring 15 different varieties, offering a huge range of colours and unique shapes.
It’s a perfect setup for a wholesome family day out. Visitors are provided with secateurs to pick their own blooms and a dedicated pruning bench to tie their bouquets. Beyond the picking, the field is designed with plenty of photo ops in mind, so you can capture the “main character” energy of the season.
When is the tulip field opening, and how to get there?
While the prices and exact dates have not yet been confirmed for 2026, guests do not need to book ahead and can just show up and get picking!
What is more, the spot is aiming to bring back its sunflower field for 2026 this summer, so watch this space! It was open for three weeks in April in 2025, providing plenty of Instagrammable opportunities for those who visited.
Gloagburn Farm Shop is located an hour from Glasgow, at Tibbermore, Perth, PH1 1QL.
