Pride month is here, and as Glasgow Pride is on July 15, we feel we will want to keep celebrating the weekend after. Well, thankfully, a Pride Drag brunch with live entertainment and plenty of drinks to go around is coming to the rooftop bar VEGA on Saturday, July 22 from 12pm. Guests can expect a kaleidoscope of rainbow decorations, plenty of Instagrammable spots and juicy entertainment. A VEGA boozy brunch, drag and everything decked in rainbow colours? Count us in!
VEGA, a space-themed rooftop bar with spectacular vistas of Glasgow that also boasts a bowling alley and a karaoke room, is thrilled to unveil its upcoming Pride Brunch event. As a fun-filled celebration of love and inclusivity, the boozy Pride Drag brunch will keep the good vibes going throughout the day.
What is more, the VEGA Pride boozy Drag brunch will be hosted by Queen Val Halla with fabulous performances by Glasgow drag artist October Fist and friends. The performers will enchant the audience with their fierce presence and artistry, rocking high-energy lip-sync battles as well as dance routines. Adding to the celebration of love, diversity and inclusivity, a live DJ will also spin plenty of upbeat tunes throughout the day, getting the party started and inviting guests onto the dancefloor.
The tickets are £39 per person, and include welcome snacks, two Absolut vodka cocktails, a brunch main meal, and a half bottle of prosecco per person to enjoy at VEGA’s beloved ‘Build Your Own’ bellini stations.
And for the main meal, guests can opt for some firm favourites, such as the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Waffle or the French Toast with Berries or Crispy Bacon. Plus, VEGA has introduced some new additions to the menu like the Avocado & Halloumi Salad, tossed with mixed leaves, pomegranate seeds, toasted walnuts, cherry tomatoes, and drizzled with a delightful maple and balsamic dressing. For those seeking a gluten-free option, the new Potato Rosti Stack with diced chorizo, dressed rocket, smashed avocado, and a perfectly poached egg is the one to go for.
Beyond the celebration, VEGA is also supporting charity LGBT Youth Scotland, with £5 from every ticket sold being donated to the organisation. Additional opportunities to donate at the event will also be available, hoping to make a meaningful impact in supporting the LGBTQ+ community and the vital work of LGBT Youth Scotland.
