Jesus Christ Superstar tells the story of the final weeks of the life of Jesus Christ and the set of events that have occurred, seen through the eyes of Judas. Enhanced by the rock anthems that defined a generation, the sensational score includes ‘I Don’t Know How to Love Him’, ‘Gethsemane’ and ‘Superstar’.
Jesus Christ Superstar has become an international phenomenon with its iconic 70s rock score and was originally released as a concept album that debuted on Broadway in 1971. By the time the original London production finished after eight years of running with 3,358 performances, it had claimed the title of the longest-running musical in West End history at that time.
